The most common mistake with wall art is getting the size wrong — usually too small. A print that looks dramatic on screen becomes a postage stamp on a wall.
The Basic Rule
Wall art should cover 60 to 75 percent of the wall space above furniture. For a single statement print, 18x24 inches (45x60cm) is the sweet spot for most home offices or bedrooms.
By Room
Home office: 18x24 inch is the standard AXION size. At arm's length from a desk it reads well — present without overwhelming. Mount at eye level (145cm from floor to centre).
Bedroom above the bed: One 18x24 inch print works well above the headboard. For a wider wall, consider a pair with a deliberate gap.
Living room feature wall: Consider a grouping of two or three prints. Larger formats are available by request — email studio@axionstudio.one.
Hallway: Narrower walls suit portrait-format prints. 18x24 is the right proportion.
Measuring Your Wall
Measure the wall width. Multiply by 0.57. That is the ideal print width for a single piece. 18x24 at 45cm wide works for walls between 75 and 90cm wide.
Framing
AXION prints come unframed (rolled in a protective tube) or with an optional frame - Black or Natural Wood, chosen at checkout. A frame adds approximately 4cm each side.
